Spirulina algae is a microalgae, scientifically known as Arthrospira. C.
Today it is classified more precisely among the cyanobacteria (like other blue-green algae) and lives mainly in lakes, especially salty with alkaline and warm waters, of sub-tropical areas.
It is characterized by the typical spiral shape (which can only be seen with the microscope), for which it had this name.

Spirulina has multiple nutritional and therapeutic properties thanks to the substances contained in it, for this reason it is included among the super food.

💪 60-70% Proteins with high biological value, i.e. rich in essential amino acids (amino acids that are not produced by the body and must necessarily be introduced with the diet). Spirulina contains all 8 essential amino acids (Phenylalanine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Threonine, Tryptophan, Valine) essential for health and sport

💪 Essential fatty acids: Omega 3 and omega 6, which counteract cholesterol and triglyceride levels, a great help in controlling inflammation.
